LMS LED phosphors brief The main approach to produce white LED is
the combination of blue LED chips with phosphors, namely, the rare earth
activated garnet YAG and TAG. Different from YAG and TAG, LMS phosphors are
silicate matrix activated by rare earth. The LMS phosphors own high
light-converting efficiency, good transparence, and excellent physical and
chemical stability. It exhibits blue, green, yellow, orange emission when
excited by violet or blue light with wavelength shorter than 500nm. It is an
ideal phosphor for white LED application. It can be adopted to produce white LED
products with various color temperature and color-rendering index. LMY phosphor is a modified aluminum garnet activated by
double rare earth. It has excellent chemical stability, aging resistance, and
high light-converting efficiency. LMS phosphor is a kind of
rare earth activated silicate luminescence material, used for white LED
application. It is yellow powders with good chemical stability, weather
resistance, and good light conversion efficiency. Crystallinity is better than
YAG product. It is a broad excitation band phosphor used for UV chips or blue
chips even blue-green LED chips, especially for white LED application. LMS
phosphors include LMS-560?LMS-550?LMS-540 three series. They can be adopted for
LED products with different color temperature and color rendering
index.
